CONTEXT

Context and objective

Certifying the “Highest altitude drift by a car” required more than filming the manoeuvre. Altitude, position and run parameters had to be captured coherently, checked and turned into technical evidence suitable for the verification process in a remote, extreme-altitude environment.

SYSTEM

Architecture

The solution connected in-car telemetry, GNSS and altitude acquisition, local logging, log retrieval and post-run analysis. Traces and measurements were organised to reconstruct the session and support the record evidence package.

Guinness World Records credits Sanam Preet Sekhon with the record at 5,798.251 metres, achieved on 31 July 2025 at Umling La Pass, Ladakh. HDA contributed the dedicated telemetry and data analysis supporting the technical documentation.
