Necessary storage

The website uses browser local storage to record the choice made in the banner (key “hda-consent-v1”). This information is required to avoid repeating the request on every page and expires after approximately six months.

Language is determined by the URL and the static frontend requires no user session. We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies.

Optional preferences

Only after consent to the Preferences category may the website store the selected light or dark theme on the device (key “hda-theme”). If you choose “Necessary only”, the theme is not retained between visits.

Consent may be refused without restricting access to content. You can change your choice at any time through “Manage cookies” in the footer.

Contact form and security

Contact-form submission uses an Azure Function and may generate technical security logs, which are not browser cookies. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, technologies strictly required for anti-spam verification are loaded only on the form page and documented in this notice.

External services and updates

When you open a run or an HDA file in the telemetry analyser, the satellite basemap is requested from Esri ArcGIS Online regardless of your preferences choice. The request discloses at least the IP address and ordinary technical connection data to the provider; attribution is displayed on the map. The website does not use this integration for advertising or profiling. Videos and social widgets are not embedded, and their external links open only when selected by the user.

If new optional categories or purposes are introduced, the website will block those tools by default and request a new choice. Last updated: 31 July 2026.
